Draco and the Seven Scales Guide

Achievements

There are 15 Steam achievements. None are hidden. The table carries three readings — two from launch day and one from September 22, 2026, four days in — because the movement tells you more than any single snapshot.

What eleven days did to the numbers

The launch-weekend dip reversed hard, and the climb has not stopped since. On September 19 the late-game achievements were falling because owners were arriving faster than they were finishing; by September 22 the people already in had a weekend to push; and by September 30 even the endgame sets kept compounding — the final boss went 12.2% → 22.1% in eight days, and every dungeon more than doubled its September 19 number (Dungeons 5 and 6 nearly quadrupled).

Two patterns worth knowing:

  • The tutorial barely moved (79.7% → 84.5%) while everything after it ran away. New buyers are still arriving, but the people already in are progressing fast.
  • Finishers are completionists, and that held up over eleven days. It is Finished (22.1%) still sits above the item, fishing and bird sets, and Legendary Captain is at 16.2% — about three quarters of everyone who has rolled credits has also swept the map. On a 6–13 hour game that is a weekend's work, not a grind.

Natural order

The first seven rows are the story spine. Play the game and they drop. No Turning Back is the last scale, not the credits — It is Finished sits 2.5 points lower, and the official soundtrack's extra "Dungeon 8" track is the beat between them.

The six collectible achievements can overlap the story. Nothing in the official text says any of them are missable, and nothing in the reviews says you can lock yourself out. Still, buy sea charts when you see them rather than hoping for a late vendor; see collectibles.

Legendary Captain is the meta-achievement. You cannot get it before the other 14. If it is your last remaining tile, you are missing a cannon, a boon, a chart, an item, a bird or a fish — not a secret 16th dungeon.

What the percentages are saying

  • The dated dungeon completion rates do not explain why a player stopped or measure the difficulty of a boss.
  • Story clear (12.2%) and 100% (9.2%) are close enough that a completion pass looks like the default way people play this game, not a niche.
  • The collector sets cluster between 11.0% and 14.7%, tight enough that no single set is the obvious bottleneck. Pick your least favourite and do it last.
  • The OST's Breda and Prince of the Whale tracks do not appear as achievements, so those encounters are inside other unlocks — not extra tiles to chase.

Not on this list

There is no achievement for beating a specific named boss (Macaw, Henny, Commodore, Breda, Ocean King, Prince of the Whale). Bosses are inside the dungeon or minigame completes. There is also no speedrun, no difficulty-tier and no "no-death" achievement in the 15.

Ice Goat Games shipped more patches in the weeks after launch (1.0.4.2 through 1.0.6.0) and answers forum threads directly — see the patch history. If a later patch adds achievements, this table grows; it does not get a fake "coming soon" row today.

Difficulty and the dated completion tables

The October 26 update adds Scourge: no enemy heart drops and double incoming damage. Choose it on a new save or through Settings after selecting an existing save. The historical Steam percentages above are not separated by difficulty and do not show your chance of earning an achievement.

Use the stated objective to track each award. For a boss or item-use problem, check the current dungeon fixes before replaying large sections.
