Collectibles
The store promises "over 15 unique items" plus ship upgrades. Steam then splits completion into six sets. This page is the set list, the order that makes sense, and the official wording for each .

The six sets (Steam, September 22, 2026)
| Set | Achievement | What it asks | Rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sea charts | Master Navigator | Obtain Every Sea Chart | 14.7% |
| Ship cannons | Terror of the Seas | Obtain every ship cannon | 13.9% |
| Siren Boons | Siren Melody | Obtain every Siren Boon | 12.2% |
| Items | Well-Armed | Obtain every item | 11.9% |
| Fish | Master Angler | Catch every fish in the Seven Seas | 12.0% |
| Birds | Flock Around | Obtain every bird | 11.0% |
| 100% | Legendary Captain | Obtain all achievements | 9.2% |
These are historical completion rates, not a measure of route order or the share of players who completed every set. Full dated table: achievements.
What an "item" is, per official text
- Over 15 unique items that "assist you in combat, puzzle solving, and fishing."
- Powerful upgrades to "enhance your ship's capabilities and cannon prowess."
- The opening kit from coverage is a cutlass and a blackpowder pistol on land; cannons are the ship side.
Three consequences that follow:
- Items are shared across the two scales of play. If a puzzle looks unsolvable on foot, the answer may be something you carry onto the ship.
- Ship upgrades and ship cannons are separate systems — Terror of the Seas (cannons) and Well-Armed (items) are separate unlocks, so Steam does not count cannons as items. Chasing 100% means both.
- Fishing is an item sink too. The store explicitly says items help with fishing, and the minigame has its own commands (HAUL / REEL / SLACK / ITEM) with an ITEM option visible on the official screenshots.
No patch note removes or moves an item, and no review reports a missable one. Two items are named in the 1.0.4.4 notes — the Macaw Egg and the Dream Tonic — and that patch fixed a menu lock they could cause. Treat every new tool as permanent until a source says otherwise.
Sea charts, gold and doubloons
Master Navigator is "every sea chart." A finished-run review: buy the maps, you can afford every shop item without grinding, and there is nothing you need to save money for. Charts are the one purchase that review called out by name. The currency has a name too: the 1.0.4.3 patch notes mention a "doubloons chest" at the lighthouse.
Charts may also do more than travel. A player who bought the Deception Point currents map asked the Steam forums whether currents are "useful, or are they just like hints." Nobody — developer or player — answered. If currents are part of the chart set in some regions, that question is where the answer would come from; for now, buy charts for the travel convenience and assume nothing else.
Ship cannons
Terror of the Seas asks for every ship cannon; the store says upgrades improve "cannon prowess." Reviews treat the cannon as both a weapon and a puzzle tool — one called blasting problems "the way a true pirate was meant to."
There is no official cannon list, no damage table and no count. Where the developer names a ship encounter — the Royal Armada, the "commodore" fight a review liked, the flagship theme on the OST — that is a fight, not a cannon pickup.
Siren Boons
Siren Melody is the only official sentence we have: "Obtain every Siren Boon." The OST has a track titled "Siren's Song", and store copy mentions sailing into "siren's songs." There is no official count and no tooltip dump, so this page does not guess how many boons there are or what each one does.
If you see a siren encounter, it is a completion set, not flavour.
Birds — Professor Mango's Bird Emporium
Flock Around: "Obtain every bird." The official soundtrack includes Professor Mango's Bird Emporium. RPG Site's PAX demo write-up: the first parrot is picked from three, in a room that reads like Professor Oak's lab, and rival Captain Henny picks after you. They asked the devs whether you can name the parrots; that was unanswered at PAX and is still unanswered in the 1.0.6.0 notes.
Birds are a set. The first pick is a story beat. The rest of the flock is why the achievement exists — and one launch review calls the Pokémon-style references part of what made the game land.
Fish — optional after the first time
Master Angler: "Catch every fish in the Seven Seas." The OST has "Fishing Encounter! (Minigame)" and "Versus The Ocean King (Minigame Boss)", which makes the minigame boss a named encounter rather than a random hook.
A 13-hour review: the fishing minigame is skippable. After you do it once, you can ignore it with no story punishment. The same reviewer admits they did not enjoy it; other players in the thread said it grows on you once you invest — hearsay, labelled as such. Skip it and you still beat the game; skip it and you cannot get Legendary Captain.
Store HUD screenshots of the fishing fight show commands HAUL / REEL / SLACK / ITEM and the prompt "Reduce the Fish's strength!" That is the official minigame language.

The 100% order that wastes the least time
Nothing here is a spoiler route, and none of it is a required sequence:
- Play the story with charts in mind. Buy every sea chart you see; you cannot overspend and one review says you will never be short of gold.
- Pick up items as they appear. No source reports a missable item, so the risk is forgetting which ones you skipped, not losing them.
- Do the fishing encounter once so the system is open, then decide whether to grind it now or at the end.
- Take the bird pick seriously — the first bird is a story choice, and Henny takes the next one.
- Reach Paradise early for the mid-dungeon power-up, which makes the back half easier to sweep.
- **Leave Legendary Captain for last.** It cannot fire before the other 14, and it is the only one that cannot be earned by accident.
One warning worth repeating from the reviews: collectors here do not feel like chores. "One of very few games where I was genuinely excited to hunt down collectables."
What this page will not do
It will not invent a 15-row item table, a cannon damage sheet, or a fish encyclopedia from soundtrack names. The "Comb Map" is real and tracked by the game: 1.0.5.4 fixed two siren combs whose locations were wrong on it, after dungeon 8. That is the closest official confirmation that the game tracks your collection for you. The 1.0.6.0 patch (Oct 3, 2026) added a new mermaid statue in dungeon 7 and another in dungeon 8; the developers say the Spanish translation for them is not in yet. Tracks like "A Hot Isle," "Nautilus Village," "Three Temples" and "The Sandbar" are location music, not collectible proof — they are listed as areas on the dungeons page. When Ice Goat Games or a Steam guide publishes a numbered list, it goes here.
Collecting while Scourge is enabled
Scourge changes survival: enemy heart drops stop and incoming damage doubles. Check the selected difficulty before attempting a long sweep or a boss detour. You can change difficulty in Settings after selecting the save, so starting a new file is not required merely to use that option.
Keep the set you are pursuing separate from a dungeon-clear achievement. Sea charts, cannons, items, fish, birds and Siren Boons have separate collection conditions; a completed story objective is not a record of every optional pickup.
